FORMERLY FERAL FRIDAY
Angel and I share a common bond being that we were both feral in our
start to life. Angel was born in a barn on a farm in July of 1997 and
came to live with his Mommie when he was four months old. And I was a
very scairty wild little feral 6 week old kitten living out in the wild.
Can you tell we love living inside now?
Last night was the first time Angel ever played THoE (thundering herd of elephants)! He and Minchie were chasing each other all over and Mom was getting such a kick out of watching them. For such a BIG Mancat, that orange boy can really move!
It is such a great feeling when a feral cat learns to trust you. So glad Angel came to live with you. Sounds like they had some good times. Have a great week end.
ReplyDeleteFunny how every cat person I know uses the same term: herd of elephants! Just what is that all about, kitties?
ReplyDeleteWe have thundering herds running up and down the steps in the wee hours of the morning. I always refer to them as "buffalo" herds.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE hearing the thundering herd and I love watching if I happen to be around to.
ReplyDeleteAll of us cats are fast, regardless of size.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you both were rescued. XO
ReplyDeleteNow that's a fun memory!
ReplyDeleteHow fun that Angel came out of his shell!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely flashback.
ReplyDeleteIt is wunnerful that you both adapted to Beings and houses. It sure makes fer an easier life... Love, and food, and love, and warmth, and love, and shelter, and love.
