HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY LAILA!

This is also the 8th blogoversary of our blog.  It started out being just Mom's blog but in time we kidnapped it and took over.  We think she started blogging on this date because she somehow knew Laila was born on this date and would be coming to live with her soon.

Happy World Veterinary Day

Since today is World Veterinary Day, we thought it would be fun to show pictures of us with the various vets we have seen at March Animal Hospital.

Since this seems to be an Angel week, here is a picture that was taken when Angel lived with us back in 2009.  He weighed almost 20 pounds back then. He and I were best buds.

 Mom went down to visit with Angel and his mom over the weekend.  He was such a big help helping Mom do some things for his mom.

Laila loves getting her Easy on on her scratcher.  Minchie prefers the comfort of more comfy things, like beds, blankies, cat beds, cat tents, etc.

We are so happy to have Mom back full time with us!

For those of you not on Facebook, Mom was dog/house sitting for Toby because his mom, a very long time very good friend of our mom's, had cancer and was in hospice and her husband had to go to New York for his father's wake and funeral.  Well, Mom's friend passed away late last Thursday night, the night of the father's wake.  This is the saddest story ever.  Cannot imagine what her husband is going through.  Please keep this family in your prayers.  It's been very hard on Mom too.  She's known the family for 38 years and worked for them for 30 of those years.  She's like family to them.

Taking a Break

We will be on a short blogging break until Monday as Mom is going to be dog sitting for this cute woofie, Toby.  She has to live at his house but will come home during the day for a few hours to take care of us.  She will not have access to the computer there because it's used for a business so we will miss visiting all our friends.

Tuxie Tuesday

Besides having a shoe fettish, Laila loves to lay on Mom's purses.  Mom was trying to change into a smaller purse but Laila beat her to it.

It's Caturday!

Mom says tonight we are going to spend on this couch trying to get caught up on shows "On Demand" she missed this week.  She also has to make a ton of smashed potatoes for Easter dinner tomorrow.  She said we get to lick the beaters!

Flashback Friday

Whenever one of Mom's kitties runs off to 

the Bridge, she scrapbooks a memorial photo album of them.

Lilly, who ran off to the Bridge June 5, 2008, was a tortoiseshell tabby kitty so this is the coverset Mom chose for hers.

This is the first page of the album.  Lilly loved to be held.
