Angel's going home tomorrow :(((

Angel was so tired he couldn't quite make it to the tent for his nap.

Well, tomorrow morning Angel will be going back home to his mom. Our mom has been so sad and leaky eyed. Every time she walks by him he gets scritches and kisses. We will miss him too! But he will only be less than 50 foot steps away on the first floor (we are right next to a stairwell on the second floor). He won't have his own blog but we will be posting pictures and stories of him from time to time so you can still keep up with him.

Thursday Thanks

Remember little JoJo that Mom cat sat for while her mom and dad were in Hawaii? Well our mom got a thank you from her mom. Yummy candy from Hawaii, a beautiful card and a clip to wear in her hair with a plumeria flower on it. I just have a funny feeling Mom is gonna try to put that flower in my hair.

And the Silver Medal goes to...

OMC! We won a Silver Medal!

We want to thank Ernie, Wally and Zoey of The Island-Cats who hosted the 2010 Cat-O-Lympics Synchronized Snoozing Event. They did a pawsome job and all 39 competitors were, in our opinion, medal winners. This is what they said about our entry: "Beautiful display of the backward mirror technique. We felt like we were seeing double!" This was so much fun and we can't thank them enough! You guys rock!

And today is our mom's birthday and she is so proud and happy that we won a medal. She couldn't ask for a better birthday present! Happy Birthday Mom! We luvs you a bunch!

Mancat Monday

Easy like Sunday morning

Yep, Angel is still here! Now the target date is next weekend. This has been such an emotional roller coaster for Mom. We think Angel is getting very impatient because he's becoming a little aggressive with us. Mom thinks he's trying to play with us but never having lived with another cat and having barn cat roots, he never learned how to play nice. That water bottle is getting a workout at times.

Formerly Feral Friday

When Mom is on the computer I try everything to make a nuisance of myself so she'll pay attention to me. When it gets too unbearable for her she'll take her back scratcher and scratch me all over. WOW! No wonder the humans love those things!

Yesterday's Mystery Solved

For 5 days Mom took care of a neighbors kitties while they were out of town. This cutie pie is JoJo. She's a tiny little very vocal black and white girl that sounds just like a Meezer, but she isn't. JoJo has a calico sister, Sammy, who is very shy and only came out once but Mom never got a picture of her.

JoJo was more than happy to pose for the flashy box.

In the evenings Mom would stay an hour or so and watch tv. Sometimes JoJo would join her on the couch in her cat bed or would always be close by.

She even has a heart shaped black patch on her back!

JoJo got caught up on the counter trying to steal dry food out of the container off to the right.

Each time Mom would leave, and she would go down in the morning and evening, she'd make sure the lid on the container was on good and tight and up against the back splash.

But when she'd come back, the container had always been moved and the top was always off. Gee, wonder who did that! Better yet, how did she get it off!!!

Synchronized Snoozing Competition

Laila and Minchie have entered the Cat-O-Lympics in honor of the Winter Olympic games in Vancouver, Canada over at The Island Cats in the Synchronized Snoozing Competition. We are going for the gold!

Mancat Monday

Well, this may be Angel's last Mancat Monday with us. (Mom, stop crying!) We will continue to post pictures of Angel once in a while of him in his newly renovated house to be sure everyone can keep up on his adventures.

Also, Mom has been cat sitting for two kitties in their house in our building since Thursday. She's been taking pictures so you will be seeing them soon. Tonight is the last night she has to go there. We are glad as it takes time away from US!

Angel, the formerly feral barn kitty, is catching some zzzzz's on Mom's recliner while he still can. He may be going back home to his mommie as early as next weekend. Our mom is getting all sad and stuff but knows his mom needs her boy back. He'll only be a flight of stairs away.

Laila is thankful that Minchie shares his blankie and recliner with her. She is also thankful that she has found the handsome mancat of her dreams, Loki, after all this time. Good things come to those who wait.
