We're sorry we haven't been visiting our blogging friends a lot lately but our secretary is losing her day hunting job tomorrow and has been too tired to help us. We promise we'll be more prompt in visiting when this stressful and sad week for Mom is over. Mom and her boss lady friend has been having lots of leakey eyez.

Dr. Jen is having a hard time getting Angel out of his PTU. How did all of that cat get squeezed in there?

Good news! Angel is down 1.5 pounds! Not letting him have access to our food and "playing" and "running" with us is working!

Everything is sounding good. He got one shot and clean bill of health!

Saturday Caturday

Angel loves to snoopervise while Mom fills up our food tub. He doesn't get to eat this kind of food because he is on a "diet". In fact, Mom is taking him and his Mom to the V-E-T today for his annual checkup. She is hoping he has lost a few ounces.

Purresents from Baby Patches!

How exciting! A package to me from my ladycat, Baby Patches for my birthday last week! Oh, how I can smells her lovely ladycat smells on the box.

Here is what was inside. Those Power Patties that is the current rave, a package of leather mousies and a package of the little crinkle balls. And my Ladycat's calling card. I sure hope she doesn't send them out to just anyone!

I never saw a leather mousie before. Being the connoisseur of little play mousies, I gave it a 5 star.

Now these patties smell very interesting.

Now, let's just sniff it a lot and see what it's all about. Sadly to say, I just walked away from it. Not like Baby Patches who will take her Mom down for them. My Mom is very disappointed I didn't like them. She says I'm just not refined like my Ladycat. Hey, what do us midwest kitties know anyway about the finer things in life. Mom says she's gonna try again, but put them where we usually get out treats the next time to see it I'll like it better.

Thanks again, Baby Patches, for all the wonderful purresents and thinking of me on my birthday!!! I am your loving mancat forever and ever!

Thankful Thursday

Minchie is thankful Mom let him keep his Bengay box from International Box Day. Mom says we have more furniture and beds than she does.

It makes a wonderful and comfy bed to snooze in.

Christmas in July!

Yes, Christmas in July! We were partnered with Winston and Clementine two of the cutest little pugs you'll ever meet. They sent the coolest kitty presents and Mom even got a present. A cute cat bookmark which she started using right away.

Here the three of us are sniffing the strange smells that came with the box that the man in the blue shorts delivered. Very interesting smells on this one!

Each present was inside a beautiful and Christmassy gift bag and a tin. We even got a cute card from Winston and Clementine with two cats and a doggie on the front!

Mom tied the ribbon around Minchie's neck to help get in the Christmas spirit. Lots of our favorite treats, catnip, tiny mousies (Minchie's favorite), balls and a cute whopping toy with a bee on top of flower.

Thank you, Winston and Clementine, for all the purrfect presents! We feel the best present of all was meeting two new blogging friends of the doggie kind. We had so much fun participating in this!

I want to thank everybody for all the wonderful birthday wishes yesterday! It was a great day with lots of treats and kisses from Mom. Now if you'll excuse me, me and my frootbat ears are gonna take a nap.

See how shiny my furs are? You would not believe how silky soft they are too. When I was a tiny little baby kitten it was impossible for Mom to hang on to me because I would just slip out of her hands I was so soft. It's hard to believe I have so much gray furs when most pictures of me show my white furs.

Thankful Thursday

Thank you Auntie Peggy, Laila and Minchie for letting me stay here so long (5 months now) while my house gets all purrty. I really luvs it here.

Happy Gotcha Day to Us!

This is the first picture taken of Laila as a 10 week old little kitten. She came to live here on July 6, 2007. She was such a tiny girl!

This is one of the first pictures of Minchie taken on July 6, 2008 on his first day here. Laila is under the couch hiding from him. They both got along very quickly.

It's so strange how we both came to live here on the exact same date a year apart.

Easy like Sunday morning

When our sister, Lilly, was so sick last year, Mom went out and bought this special bed for her. Lilly loved it and spent many hours snoozing away on it.

Just recently Mom found it in a bag in our storage locker and let us have a go at it. Here I am checking out the Lilly smells still on it.

Just as I laid down and started getting comfy, Laila came over for a major sniffing confirming it was indeed Lilly's bed.

I sure can understand why Lilly loved this little bed so much!
