We're Baaaaack!!!!!

We got a new computer yesterday, thanks to our Uncle Dan.  Mom still has to install some software so we can get to the pictures on her camera and Uncle Dan has to take our pictures off the old hard drive, so until then, please excuse the old picture.  It's great to be back!!!

Our Computer is Sick!

Our computer is sick.  It either has to go to the hospital or we have to get a new one.  We don't know how long we'll be gone from blogging.  Boohoohoo!

 

 

Mom is freaking out majorly and getting internet withdrawls already.  But Angel's mom said she could downstairs and use theirs anytime to check emails.  So that's where she is now.

Photo Hunt - Escape

Today's Photo Hunt theme is "escape".

This is a post Mom did back in April 2008 when Lilly(RIP) was still with her and Laila.

Lilly:  I am very thankful I found my way back home after I  "escaped" out our door into the hallway.  So, this is what the outside world looks like from the back of our building.

Mom: Here Lilly, see, this is the view from the back of the building that you never get to see.
Lilly: WOW! It looks like we live in a big city and not the suburbs

Mom: Okay, Lilly, time to go back inside our house.
Lilly: MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!
Mom: No, Lilly, honey, that's not our door. That's Carey's door and he's not home.
Lilly: MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!
Mom: Silly girl! No, this way sweetie. This is where we live
Lilly: MEOW! MEOW!! MEOW!

Mom finally had to pick me up and carry me to our door. Home sweet home!

Laila the Inspector

 This is a sight Mom has never seen before.  Laila on the dining room table!  She was checking out the packages to the winners of the items we donated to the auction for Ann and Poppy Vic.

 She is happy to report they were all addressed correctly and got taken to the post office for mailing.

 This sun puddle made for some interesting stripes on Laila's furs.

We send our condolences to Maggy, Zoey and Ann of Zoolatry, whose Poppy Vic lost his brave fight with the evil cancer.  Our thoughts and purrs are with them during this sad time.

We are very thankful that Mom's dog/cat/house sitting duties will be over later this morning.  We are patiently waiting for her to come home to turn on our sink water for us!  Oh, and not to worry, she came home every day and spent much quality time with us until it was time to go back to our auntie's house.

Mom is cat/dog sitting for her sister through Thursday this week.  There is a change in the feeding that's pretty funny.  Lady, the woofie, won't eat her dry food unless there is a small handful of cat food on top.  MOL!!!

Mom says Laila is the laziest kitty she has ever been owned by when it comes to playing.  Here she's playing with her green turkey feather while laying down.

Every once in a while Mom brings out our leopard print pop up cat cube and leaves it out until we get bored with it.  Laila always stakes her claim to it.

Mancat Monday Guest

Meet Murphy.  He was Mom's very first (and only until Minchie) mancat.  These pictures were taken eleventy gazillion years ago when Mom was skinny and had brown hair.

We hope all of the American mancats (and girlcats too) have a very relaxing Labor Day. Don't forget, this is the day our beans have to do all of our labor for us. Oh, wait, they already do 24/7! MOL!
