Memorial Day

Today we honor and remember those who served in the military and who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

At all the National Cemeteries all the graves will be marked with small American flags. Our Mom's Mom and Dad are both buried here in Milwaukee, WI and their graves will be decorated also. They both served in WWII.

MANCAT MONDAY GUEST

For some reason I am obsessed with sniffing Angel's furs.  He's being very patient with me and putting up with it.

 

And he has a very cool Harley Davidson collar which really makes him look very Mancatly. Hey, with a name like Angel, he needs all the help he can get! Angel is a former barn cat and everyone thought he was a she so they named him Angel. Then the vet told them she was a he but they decided to keep the name Angel anyway.

Mancat Monday

Meet Howard, Angel's grampa and he's my adopted grampa and Mom considers him her adopted daddy.  She takes him out every week to go to the movies and run errands and has for almost eight years now.  He has been wanting to come over and visit with me so last Friday was the day!  I hadn't seen him in awhile so we had a lot to get caught up on.

We are all very pooped kitties after this week of getting use to each other. So today we are gonna chillax and get rested up for more fun in the coming week.

RIP Sweet Cousin Lady

Mom went with her sister and family to the vet Monday night to help our woofie cousin, Lady, take her walk over The Bridge.  You have seen many pictures of her over the years on our blog when Mom would dog and house sit for her.  We are all heartbroken.  It was a very peaceful journey for her.  She will always have a special place in our hearts, especially Mom's.
