Whisker Hump Wednesday
Minchie is being shy about his magnificent mancat whiskers and whisker humps.
Yesterday Mom stopped off at The Buddy Foundation see if Peggy Sue was still there and she was! She and three other little kittens aren't ready yet to be put up for adoption. She was snuggled up with a cute little black and white tuxie kitten. On her card they wrote "very sweet".

Table Tuesday
Mom says she's never seen Laila laying on the dining room table before, so she had to grab a quick picture. The other day she looked like a beached whale, this time she looks like a baby seal.

National Feral Cat Day
For many years Mom fed and provided shelter to the feral cats that hung around her office building.
This little trio of kittens were rescued by Mom and her boss in 2003 in the back lot of the office. The little gray one ended up being our cousin, Gizmo(RIP), who lived with Mom's sister.
These are just a few of the many ferals that hung around or visited over the years. The building was sold the summer of 2009 so the ferals have gone elsewhere. Mom drives down that street often and still looks for her buddies but has never seen one.
National Feral Cat Day was launched in 2001 by Alley Cat Allies, the national advocate for feral and stray cats and a recognized authority on Trap‐Neuter‐Return. Check out their site for information on lots of ways you can help feral cats!

Friend Friday
Peggy Sue, the little kitten Mom rescued two weeks ago.
Cousin Sushimi six years ago as a kitten.
They look like twins!
Mom is hoping to go visit Peggy Sue at the shelter today. We are okay with that as long as she doesn't come home with her! The neighbor, who helped Mom rescue her, is really putting the pressure on her to adopt her, even offering to go halvies with us in her care. Mom keeps saying our small condo is not three cat friendly. Be strong, Mom!!!

Thankful Thursday
Angel is thankful Mom is going down twice a day to feed and spend time with him while his mom is gone for a few days. They watched Survivor together last night. Angel thought that challenge with the cooked pigs would be something he'd excel at.
And when it came time for Mom to come back upstairs to us, he was blocking the front door so she couldn't leave.

Whisker Hump Wednesday
Mom gets mad at Minchie when he jumps up to the top of the book case and noms on the leaves of this fake and very dusty plant. He claims he's just up there dusting off the leaves for her. Who can stay mad at him with those cute whisker humps!
Angel's mom left this morning for a four day business trip so our mom will be going down twice a day to feed and spend time with him. She would bring him up to stay with us but she just knows he would just devour our food and gain back some of the weight he lost. Stay tuned for pictures!

Photo Hunt - Waiting
Today's Photo Hunters theme is waiting.
Remember Peggy Sue, the little kitten our Mom Peggy rescued in the garage a week ago? Well, here she is waiting at The Buddy Foundation to be adopted.
Mom Peggy went to visit her last night now that she checked out fine with the vet.
In two more weeks she will be available. Right now she's in a big cage with some other little kittens waiting too so she has lots of little playmates.
The two Peggy's smiling for the camera.
Something got her attention.
Look at those green eyes! Mom Peggy says she must be Irish like her. MOL!
Mom Peggy was giving that sweet little head lot of kisses.
