Before Minchie came to live with us from The Buddy Foundation (like I did too), Mom brought home some of his furs she stole from him for me to smell and get use to. Here I am standing to get a good whiff of this curious smell.
So, what do you all think of my new Costco box?
I guess being formerly feral is why I don't appreciate the finer things in life like cushy cat beds and pillows for my head. Give me a good ol' cardboard box any day!

Tober the Cat guessed right yesterday about what was on top of my head. The cap from this container. It kind of reminded Mom of a little kitty bellhop cap and wanted to see how cute I'd look with it on. What a mancat won't do for some treats! 
Mom finally found the new catnip flavor of Temptations that just came out. Of course, she had to buy us a bag to see what we thought.
We both give it a two paws up!!! These are now our favorite!!!
I'm keeping the bed warm for Mom to crawl back into. She has been sick since yesterday with chills, sweats, coughs and hurty head. Laila and I will be very busy today taking real good care of her. We hope she stays awake for the big Bears vs. Packer game today here in ChiTown. A big win for our Bears would make her feel all better!.jpg)

These frootbats are turned on 24/7. 
Laila loves having her tummy combed by Mom. She makes quite the pest of herself until Mom gives in. And she must be combed in her Costco box. She loves to squirm around in it so Mom can get every fur.
Not many of you know my full name is Minchie Meow. It took Mom a bit to realise why the Meow was part of my name. Being the Turkish Angora that I am and true to my breed, we love to meow A LOT!!! Just ask Baby Patches's Mom! There are days when it drives Mom crazy and no matter what she does, she can't get me to stop. I have a lot to say! I also love to sing arias for her in the evening that I'm sure the whole building we live in can hear.
This is the greatest cat bed. It comes with it's own built-in pillow. Later dudes!
When Angel was living with us that year (almost a year ago he went back home!) he loved to lay in the morning sun. Today if he were to do that, because he's lost weight on his diet, his shadow wouldn't be nearly as big! We miss you buddy!

As soon as we walked in the front door and I announced who was here for her 10:30 visit, all the girls behind the reception desk jumped up with delight knowing a new little kitten was coming in. They all just squealed with delight and couldn't get over how beautiful she was. Of course, momma stood there very proud and Laila seemed to be enjoying all the attention. She got a clean bill of health except for a few little coccidia still showing up in her poopies. She'll be on an antibiotic for that for ten days. It's a liquid and administration of it did not go well for me at home later! Got most of it in her. Will have to bring the treats into the routine for the next administration tomorrow.
Mom says that my tummy matches the snow that is coming down outside. We are under a Winter Advisory with 2 to 4 inches expected so that means Mom is going nowhere today. Yesterday she took Angel's Mom to the human V-E-T as she's been real sick. She has an infection that has gone into her sinuses. Angel has been very busy down there taking real good care of her.

Purrfect day to hang in my cube. All the beans are complaining about how bitter cold it is outside so I'm taking their word for it and laying low.

We are waiting for our ride to the big party going on over at Sammy and Andy's house to join in on the big birthday celebration for their mom, Judi.
