Thank you, Ann of Zoolatry for the beautiful graphic.
I'm just heartbroken that my Minchie was helped to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday afternoon. It was his time and I know I did the best thing for him. Thank you to Dr. Amy Priest for all the great care given over the years. I will do a special memorial post in the coming days when I can think clearer. Thank you to everyone who was keeping him in their purrs and prayers and words of comfort, concern and love over the past few days.
We are so heartbroken that our dear friend Minchie had to leave. We do understand the heartbreak and send you purrs, hugs and every ounce of our love. Run free dear Minchie, you'll live in our hearts forever.

ReplyDeletePeggy I am too very sorry to hear about Minchie crossing over the Bridge. To say it's devastating is an understatement and I know no words can help ease the sadness. The hardest thing we have to do is let them go and we do it out of the unconditional love we hold for them and they know we will do what is best for them. Minchie indeed does know and his love is unconditionally returned back to you. My deepest prayers for you and go gentle on yourself. He will be deeply DEEPLY missed.
ReplyDeleteGodspeed your journey to heaven Minchie; we know St Francis stayed by your side to make sure you did not suffer or feel afraid. We send hugs and loves to mom and Laila; we understand how hard this is. We are truly sorry ~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥

I’m so very sorry for the loss of Minchie
ReplyDeleteI am sorry I am so late in responding to this terrible news. I haven't been able to keep up with blogs as I used to. Though I don't visit regularly, Laila and Minchie were among the first cats I read about when I discovered cat-blogs. He is a loss to the Blogosphere, almost as much as to his family. Godspeed, Minchie.
ReplyDeletePeggy! I am heart broken for you over Minchie! I am so sorry. I am sorry I did not know about this till you posed on my board. Not sure if you read my post in another thread, I did not know because I had to rush out to NJ as the doctors thought mom was about to die and I just got back last night. If you cannot get the strength up for dinner when I am there don't worry, I more than understand.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you saw my post, but Orion is now in a down hill run. It is likely lymphosarcoma like ^Itchy^ had.
I'll email you my cell phone # so if you decide to go to dinner you can call.
You take care and big hugs.
David
