Meet Our New Cousins!

Mom's niece who lives in Florida adopted these two black beauties over the weekend from The Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County.  They are about one year old and have made themselves quite at home already.  We are so happy she adopted older cats and black!!!

Ozzie (Keg) was rescued just in time!

Remember the shelter is open on Saturday from 10:30am to 1:30pm, so you can meet them then, as well as during the week.
We are NOT the shelter, just caring people networking the animals of Sumter County at Animal Services.

The Humane Society must escort you to Animal Services-- when you go there make sure you specify that you are there to see Animal Services pets.

Memorial Day

Today we honor and remember those who served in the military and who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

At all the National Cemeteries all the graves will be marked with small American flags. Our Mom's Mom and Dad are both buried here in Milwaukee, WI and their graves will be decorated also. They both served in WWII.

Flashback Friday

Today's flashback is from exactly a year ago when our adopted brother, Angel, ran off to The Bridge.  One of our saddest days ever and we still miss him so much.

Goodbye to Angel

Our hearts are broken over the huge loss of our "brother", dear sweet Angel.  He ran off very peacefully to The Bridge yesterday.

Feather Fettish

Laila just loves feathers!  

However, that is not a feather to the left of the white one.  It's her "baby" that she carries all around especially when Mom is gone or in the middle of the night.  She always places it where Mom will see it.

I only put up with this because after Mom gives me my vitamins in the syringe, I get treats.

My favorite toy at the moment

Mom is mad at me as I've stopped playing with cat toys. The other day she wadded up this piece of paper and threw it and I've been chasing and playing hockey with it ever since.

Meanwhile my overflowing toy box sits there gathering dust.

Mom was so excited to find a print of this cute cat duckie at the Etsy store, DoodleDownloads, belonging to the Mom of our friends, Four-Legged Furballs.

 My favorite day of the week.  Laundry day!

 If it takes all day to do, that is fine with Mom.

She absolutely will not disturb me while I'm snoozin' away.  Thanks Mom!  You're the best!

Thankful Thursday

We are furry thankful that Mom knows how to give sub-q fluids at home so Lilly doesn't have to go to the V-E-T every day to get stuck with the sub-q needle plus it would cost too many green papers.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there! We really love and appreciate our mom because she loves us so much and takes such good care of us.

The itteh bitteh babeh in this picture is our mom being held by her mom eleventy billion years ago. Her mom is up in heaven now and Mom misses her so much.
