Mancat Monday
Mom slip and slided through the snow yesterday morning to the hospital emergency treatment center and got put on Augmentin for seven days. Already the bites are looking betters! She still had two years left on her tetanus shot she got back in 2001 from another cat bite so she didn't need another one of those. She is finally on the road to recovery, but the pills are making her very sleepy all the time. We are all getting along real well too.

Where did spring go?
Mom has decided to go to the hospital emergency treatment center today but wants to wait until the roads are in better shape. Her bitey isn't swollen but is pretty red so she thinks she should have it checked out. Of course these things always happen on the weekend, just like a few weeks ago when Mom got the shingles.

All quiet on the homefront
Here is a picture of the biteys on her leg.
Mom will be seeing her friend who has a PhD in medicines today and will get her opinion if she thinks she needs to have it looked at by a doctor. We really don't think so, but she knows if that red starts spreading anymore she will have to.

Friday fiasco
Then as I was getting ready to help them with the blog Minchie decides he wants to walk over the keyboard onto my lap, as usual. Well, something happens and he gets freaked and is doing everything possible to get off me quick and with that he gets me on my left arm/hand and a good puncture wound on the right, not far from Laila's scratches earlier. I'm bleeding like a stuck pig and I'm screaming because it hurts like you know what. Run into the bathroom to start washing all the wounds out when all of a sudden an excruciating pain is coming from my right leg. Angel is down there biting me and attacking me! Well, I really go insane now and Minchie was right there and he and Angel start this horrible fighting and I'm trying to get them off each other, blood dripping everywhere. They chased each other all over fighting like this for a few minutes then Angel hightailed it under the couch.
Things are not good here right now. There are orange tuffs of fur all over. Glad I don't work today so I can keep an eye on things. Also have to keep a very close eye on the bite marks. I've already had to go to the ER because of a cat bite years ago.
At this point, not sure if Angel is going to get to stay here. We'll just see how it goes. And...no more Minchie on the computer desk and my lap while on the computer!

Formerly Feral Felines Feeling Friendly Friday
Think I'll just settle down here in this spot.
Now that is one floofy plume Laila has there.
Minchie is so happy that he got the "seal of approval" from his former Dad regarding Baby Patches:
Dear Minchie: She is indeed a beautiful cat. Perhaps it is time for you to meet another Turkish Angora. I am sure she will like you very much and I can already imagine the loud conversations you will be having about fur care, whisker polish, blanket obsessions, and yoga poses during sleeping. :) former dad
THANKS DAD!!!

Mancat Monday
Mom has been having to keep a close eye on Angel as he's been sticking up for himself with that pesky sister of mine. Lots of hissing going on. She's a real bruiser, that wild feral girl, and poor Angel doesn't know how to play with her like I do. But for the most part we all get along great. It's great having another Mancat to hang with!
IT FINALLY STOPPED RAINING AND THE SUN IS SHINING!!!

Easy like Sunday morning
A very dear friend of ours, Calliope ("Vicious killer princess" ) was helped to the Bridge yesterday. At one point she lived very close to us then they all packed up and moved to Montana. We are very heartbroken for her family. Your memory will live on forever in our hearts precious one.
