Mancat Monday

I'm always trying to jump up on Mom's lap or on the desk when Mom is on the computer. I'm very attached to my Mom and need to be as close to her as possible at all times.

Well, this time (again!) I really did a number on Mom's arm jumping over her to get to the keyboard. I really hurted her bad and it was bleeding lots. So she washed it out real good and put the hydrogen peroxide and wrapped her arm in towels and it finally stopped bleeding.

Note the scar just to the right. Another wound from me that has healed but left a scar. I have a feeling I'm do for a good nail trimming.

  1. Oh Minchie, your mommies arm looks very sore. You have to be more careful buddy.

Mum says I am a good girl, and have only scratched her once on the way to the vets. I have never had my nails trimmed, sounds a bit tricky.

  5. Owies! That's a big hurty, Minchie!

Mom has a few of those, but not from us. They are from our cousin Tucker Scissorhands. His name use to be Tucker, but after the first big "slice" trying to get him in the PTU, Mom renamed him Tucker Scissorhands.

  6. Ouch! Mom got a similiar scratch from Chilli the other day. It was an accident, as in your case, but you do need to watch those weapons, Minchie! Mom did clip her nails after that and it went fine. We hope it won't be a scar this time!

  7. Ouchie! Our Mom's arm has looked like that at times. One time I jumped on the bed when Mom was sleeping and she had a big scratch on her face. But one nice thing about Moms is that they will always forgve you!

  9. oh no. that looks painful. we know you didn't mean it, you just want to be close to her!

perhaps you should give some gentle head nuzzles to her with some rumbling purrs. that always helps my mommy.

i am due for a nail trim too. since my back claws need it as well, this time mommy will take me to the VET. my beans do my front claws, but the back ones...well, that is just dangerous for them...

  19. Accidents happens and we are fearless warriors with dangerous weapons. We sometimes scratches our humans too - but never on purpose.

Looks like a nasty one though. Perhaps be a bit more careful?
