Last night mom tricked me and put me in the P-T-U and off we went to the vet. Me meowing nonstop all the way. Hey, they didn't name me Minchie MEOW for nothin'! For some reason I am very famous there and when I come everyone gets excited and wants to come in the exam room to see and meet me. Maybe because I am such a big and handsome ManCat. When Dr. Jen came in the room she took one look at me and was speechless. She got on the floor so she could get down to my level and we had a very nice talk. She said I am their only Turkish Angora. I made such an impression on her that she only charged for the one shot I got and not for the office visit! Mom was very happy about that!
On the way home I was not doing my usual nonstop meowing and Mom got so worried something was wrong with me she pulled onto a side street, stopped the car, got out of the car and looked in the back seat and made sure I was okay. I thought that was pretty funny!
I am happy for you doing well at the vet~!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you got a free visit? Mom says an office visit cost $40. If we had green papers, we'd give to Mom NOT to go! hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI can understand why they think you are so wonderful at the vet's office! Because you are!
ReplyDeleteHey Minchie...your mom tricked you...and then you got her back by not meowing on the way home! Good for you! Beans shouldn't trick us!

Minchie, you is the only Turkish Angora I know. Mom thot you looked like a Norwegian Forest Cat, but that'd be silly in Chicago!
ReplyDeleteBonnie meowed TO the vet but was quiet coming home. Sum cats is smart dat way. I's pretty quiet, cept fur my first ride in Dad's truck! Mom says Nina was silent in the car, too.
You know, yur mom pulled ofur cuz she luvs you. Moms are grate dat way. An ya, Nina DOES look like Lily! Dat's nice. Purrs!
I meow all the way to the v-e-t and then I usually sleep on the way home. Good job on freaking out your mom. hee hee
ReplyDeleteLove,
Tazo
I meow more on the way there than on the way back too. Maybe because I know I am going home whereas on the way there I am mewing "Where are we going?"
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had to go to the v-e-t but it sounds like your visit was more fun than mine. At least no one shaved your rear end or stuck thermometers in rude places!
I hate that trick! I fall for it everytime, too.
ReplyDeleteGood boy, Minchie! You are such a handsome mancat. LOL at your mom for worrying (been there done that...).
ReplyDeleteSniffie meows all the way to the Vet too, and it's only 3 blocks away! Mom says thats plenty of time to hear Sniffie howl!!
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids
Glad everything went well at the vet.
ReplyDeleteI pull the same trip on my mom when she takes me to the vet.
Us mommies usually always have to trick our cats into getting into the carriers. It's part of our job! That's so cool they didn't charge you for the visit because you are such an unusual cat.
