WHEW! We're safe...so far! Mom came back home yesterday from visiting her MIL without any kittens! All her MIL talked about was how worried she was about the little fambly in her back yard and wanting to find homes for them. She has tried so hard but with no luck. The momcat was obviously someone's pet that either got out accidentally or on purpose and has been hanging in the MIL's backyard for over 3 months. Please, everycat, pray that our mom can convince The Buddy Foundation to take them and the mom!
Even the kittens, who our mom thinks may be 3 or 4 weeks old, were enjoying the cat food.
The babies in action.
The momcat is very affectionate and was following our mom everywhere and let her pet her and was rubbing herself up on her legs. That's when our mom knew she was someone's pet at one time. If Minchie hadn't just come to live with us, we would take the momcat because she is a calico and everyone who knows mom knows her obsession with calico kitties!
The kittens are so cute! I hope good forever homes can be found for them and their mom.
ReplyDeleteUh oh! Always a dangerous thing to look at kittens! And those guys are so cute!
