We have to pick a furrend in another country who we don't know very well yet. So, we will pass it to Fat Eric because we love how floofy he is.

As for my usual friends, let me give this to Cat Street Boyz (we have known these doods for years and love them like fambly), Daisy the curly cat (she was the one who told us about the CB and was so helpful when we first started blogging), Moki (who is the bravest kitten we ever met), and finally, Chica and Pumuckl (they made me, Laila, their honorary sister and we just loved learning about Egypt and now Germany)!

BABY KITTENS!!!

WHEW! We're safe...so far! Mom came back home yesterday from visiting her MIL without any kittens! All her MIL talked about was how worried she was about the little fambly in her back yard and wanting to find homes for them. She has tried so hard but with no luck. The momcat was obviously someone's pet that either got out accidentally or on purpose and has been hanging in the MIL's backyard for over 3 months. Please, everycat, pray that our mom can convince The Buddy Foundation to take them and the mom!

The momcat is very affectionate and was following our mom everywhere and let her pet her and was rubbing herself up on her legs. That's when our mom knew she was someone's pet at one time. If Minchie hadn't just come to live with us, we would take the momcat because she is a calico and everyone who knows mom knows her obsession with calico kitties!

A brick for Buddy

Mom bought a brick for the sidewalk in front of the new shelter The Buddy Foundation built. Lilly, Cerise and Binky were the sisters who came before us. But I (Laila) lived with Lilly for a year before she went to the Bridge. Our foster mom, Sue, volunteers for them.

Mom is going to be gone for a lot today. She is driving into the big city of Chicago to visit with her ex-mother-in-law to take her out to lunch for her 88th birthday. You would never believe she's that old! She has a lot more brain cells than our mom and it's very embarrassing. hahaha! Anyway, there is a white cat that hangs around her yard and it just had kittens. Mom is going to take pictures of them before the shelter comes to pick them up. They are taking the momcat too. Mom, if you dare come home with a kitten, we will make you sorry you did!!!

Mom says I'm obsessed with the bathroom sink and is thinking of contacting a kitty psychiatrist for me. I'm just sitting here resting and being prepared for any and all waters that come my way.

We have seen this "where you work meme" on a few blogs and thought it would be fun for mom to help us with it. As much as we don't like her to be away from us we are thankful she goes here to bring home the green papers that keep us in the style of luxury we demand.

Mom tricked me

Last night mom tricked me and put me in the P-T-U and off we went to the vet. Me meowing nonstop all the way. Hey, they didn't name me Minchie MEOW for nothin'! For some reason I am very famous there and when I come everyone gets excited and wants to come in the exam room to see and meet me. Maybe because I am such a big and handsome ManCat. When Dr. Jen came in the room she took one look at me and was speechless. She got on the floor so she could get down to my level and we had a very nice talk. She said I am their only Turkish Angora. I made such an impression on her that she only charged for the one shot I got and not for the office visit! Mom was very happy about that!

On the way home I was not doing my usual nonstop meowing and Mom got so worried something was wrong with me she pulled onto a side street, stopped the car, got out of the car and looked in the back seat and made sure I was okay. I thought that was pretty funny!

Turkish Angoras have large ears. All the better to hear when the can of stinky goodness gets opened, the treat jar gets opened, when we gets company, when momma gets home from her werk place, when bratty little sisters sneak up on you.

We would like to thank our sisters, Chica and Pumuckl for this very cool award. We are so sorry we are so late in thanking you but so much has been going on this week in the CB that we just remembered. Glad you are getting use to your new home and you are back with us!

Our friend Monty Q. Kat's little bean sister unexpectedly went to heaven today. We are at a loss for words and our hearts are breaking for him and his family. They are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mom is officially done dog/cat/house sitting for our cousins today. But she will go back at dinner time to let Lady out one more time. We are very happy to have her back 24/7 to tend to our every whim. But we were very happy she could do this for our Auntie and her family or they could never have taken their trip to Montana.
