This typically crazy weather here in Chicago has me plum worn out! One day the air conditioning is on and the next day the heat is on. Make up your mind, Mother Nature! They say we go right from winter into summer here. It's a wonder the flowers survive!
Our hearts and purrs go out to the people and animals of Joplin, MO as they deal with their horrendous loss of life and property from the killer tornado there yesterday. Joplin is about 160 miles south of Kansas City, MO where our mom lost a house to a nasty tornado many, many years ago.
Tornado's sure sound scarey. It's very windy here but we don't get tornado's. Hope the weather calms down where you are. :)xx
ReplyDeleteHere in Wisconsin, we have two seasons--winter and road construction. We're not sure what season this is--mother Nature has a sense of humor!
ReplyDeleteWe're purring for the people and furries in Missouri, too!
We are all purring for all of those in the tornado zone. Love your pic!
ReplyDeleteWe have one season here in the PNW--the rainy one. Sometimes we get a weekend without it... Stay safe and dry!
ReplyDeleteHi Mancatliness....we have the same thing here. And it's even harder to find a decent sunbeam! Purrs to the people in Missouri.
ReplyDeleteWe saw the awful news and so feel for the people affected. I pray for them.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteThis is the second large distructive tornado and it makes my Mom and me upset and worried.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a bad year weather wise it has to get better soon.
You look like you had a nip fest last night and are hung over! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, we've seen news reports of the devastation and it's beyond words. We're sending purrs to All Beings affected by this tragedy.
Minchie, we're with you in purring for all the humans and pets affected by the tornadoes. They are awful.

ReplyDeleteWe were reading about that tornado while on Twitter yesterday as events unfolded, when we saw pictures of what had happened we could not believe our eyes. Our hearts go out to all of Joplin as every purrson and every furry being has been affected. We will pray for all of them. We have been through a very scary times with hurricane season -- in fact June 1st is the start of our awful season -- and Mom hates it. She watches the weather like a hawk because of the things we have experienced.
