Tattle Tail Toosday

"I just wanted to see what was on the other side of the door."

Laila here. The other night a neighbor of ours (who is allergic to kitties) was talking to Mom at the front door for a long time. Minchie was standing there putting his two cents in (it was our dinnertime) when all of a sudden he bolted out the door! Luckily we live in a condo so he just escaped out into the hallway. Mom was trying to catch him but he kept running away from her but then he finally founded our door again and ran back inside. Mom and her friend were laughing lots. Mom's main concern was the neighbor not start sneezing up a storm, which she didn't.

  2. Minchie, I did that two times too. We live in the basement of our condo and I ran right up to the fifth floor. That's so much fun!

  5. Our cat flap is locked when it gets dark. Sometimes we escape through the front door when someone opens it. We do not know why we are Not Allowed out at night. We see just as well at night.

  6. Minchie, please be careful taking off like that. You never know what can be outside and we want you to stay safe.

  10. It's good that outside wasn't really outside, cuz outside outside can be kinda scarey if yoo find yourself there all of a sudden.

  14. Of course you're right, Minchie -- a cat is supposed to be curious about the world!

  15. I often wonder what's on the other side of the door, too. You were brave enough to find out.

  16. That sounds like a great adventure...still indoors, but exploring new territory.
