We are going to be hibernating the next few days as below zero wind chills come to town tomorrow. Doubt if anyone will want to brave the Chicago weather to join us on our cat tree.
Yesterday when Mom took Minchie to the vet for a noon appointment, they were
waiting for an emergency to come in. A dog got hit by a car. Told them
we would reschedule so Dr. Mindy could attend to the badly hurt dog.
The owners had just adopted her on Monday and not sure how she got
loose. Brought her in on a stretcher covered with blankets and was
alert. Poor girl, we hope she makes it. Keeping her and her family in
our prayers. We rescheduled for Monday so we'll find out then.
I think your plan is purrfect! Poor sweet pup.
ReplyDeleteKeep warm, you two! You both have the right idea.
ReplyDeleteWe will pray for the doggie too and so hope there will be good news tomorrow.
It's gonna be cold here too! Brrrrrrr! We'll be under the covers!
ReplyDeleteWe're purring for the sweet woofie.
Keep warm especially tomorrow when you have to go out to the Vet.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Your weather is way too cold! Sending purrs to that poor dog and her family.
ReplyDeleteThat is sad about the puppy. Keep warm, you have it a lot colder than us in Massachusetts.
ReplyDeleteIt is always a good idea to hibernate when it gets cold.
ReplyDeleteI hope the dog makes a good recovery.
Below zero? Below zero in F. and not C.? MOUSES! that's cold. Gosh, I had better send you some warm air from up here in Canada or somethin'. I'll send it express post, okay? Should have it soon.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Nissy
We're bracing for the cold weather here! I hope the dog makes it. What a tragedy. :-(
ReplyDeleteIt got cold here too! We think everykitty will be staying indoors today...even furry Johnny made a burrow in Mommy's bed.
ReplyDeletePurrs to the wooofie and her beans.
ReplyDeleteWe are praying for that doggie too! Your plan sounds perfect! Good luck at the V.E.T. tomorrow! Will check in to see how it went.

Oh, the rescheduled vet visit means you will have to go out in that frigid weather. That sounds pretty pawful but not has pawful as what happened to that poor woofie. Sure hope he will be okay. Hope you had a good easy. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteKeep warm and snuggle up if it gets much colder. We're sorry to hear about the dog and hope the vets could make him feel much better.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I'll never forget once when I was at the ER vet with Angel Tara a litter of puppies came in that had an overheated and another dog came in on a stretcher that had been hit by a car. It was heartbreaking.
