Easy Sunday

Minchie loves laying on this blankie right up next to the heat register.  It's been pretty cold here in ChiTown but so far we've only had seven tenths of an inch of snow at the official reporting station at O'Hare airport.  We just don't get the snow like we use to except for that monster blizzard of 2011!  

Lasers Guide the Way

Mom doesn't even have to turn the light on in the bathroom with Minchie's lasers guiding the way.

This is Laila as a kitten four years ago carrying around her flutter ball.  That was her favorite toy back then.

Thankful Thursday

Mom finally let us open our presents from our Secret Paw, Critters in the Cottage,who live in British Columbia, Canada.

It's a good thing these three mice are blind because they will not be able to see us ready to pounce on them.

 



These birdies are stuffed with 100% Canadian grown catnip.

 



These little dudes are very powerful!

Mom's hand got all scratched up from me grabbing them out of her hand.

 



I think this is Laila's favorite.  The kitty on the card looks like her!

These little plaid mousies with bells on their tails are so cute.  Very whappable!

Then we got these very cool mats that can be filled with catnip.

I'm gonna let Laila have the blue one.

Then we got a huge bag of 100% organic catnip to put in our mats.  It's so powerful even Mom was starting to get a little high from it.  MOL!

Checking through all the wrapping to make sure we opened everything up.

And for Mom, the cutest lunch bag with kitties all over it.

 

To all the Critters in the Cottage, we just can't begin to thank you for all the wonderful presents.  It will keep us very busy this winter playing with everything.  And the best part is that we have now made new friends.   



Womancat Wednesday

 In observance of Boxing Day, I'm going to hang out in my Costco box that somehow got tipped over.

 

Mom, I'll let you know when I need help putting it back upright.

It's Caturday!

We are so excited the sun is out today!  It's been a long time, but with it, are frigid temps.  BRRRR!  Laila is thinking of what kind of mischief she can get into with me.

Angel is giving Laila his best laser eyes showing her he's not afraid of her. I'm keeping her at bay and trying to get her to stop the hissing. I really think she's just jealous that Angel is taking away my time with her. She's very possessive of me. Girls!!!

Thankful Thursday

OMC!  Kitties, what a surprise we got yesterday when the man in the blue shorts brought us a parcel and this is what was inside!  It's a calendar from Eric and Flynn with pictures of them on each month!

This is the exact spot where we will be hanging it so we can see their picture every day.

 

Thank you so much, Eric and Flynn, for sending us your calendar!  We will treasure it always.

Photo Hunt - Bells

 

Today's theme is bells.  

 

This silly Christmas collar has bells on all it's points.  Laila was about 7 months old when these were taken.

Why Momma would torture me like this I'll never know. What did I do wrong?

Maybe it's a kitty choker?

I must admit I do look rather cute in it.

 

After Mom put this silly thing on me I ran all around trying to figure out how to get this thing off my neck. And the little ringing bells were scaring and driving me crazy. However, I must admit after about five minutes I just gave in and ignored it and rather liked it. I must have looked darling as Mom followed me all over with that flashy box taking pictures.

Look What Laila Got!

 

I got a surprise package yesterday from the man in the brown shorts!  It was from my sweet mancat, Loki! 
 

 

An absolutely darling gift basket full of treats and toys!

 

 

Minchie immediately checked out the beautiful straw bow and started chewing on it.

 

After Mom took the bow and cellophane off, you could see all the great presents!

 



 

Finally I'm able to claim the basket as mine!
