In the parking garage where we live, there is an area by the dumpsters where people leave things they no longer want and are too nice to be put in the dumpsters. Mom found this beautiful silk plant for me. She's not too sure where it will go, but maybe on top of the cabinets behind me or right where it is now.
Re-cyling at it's best.
ReplyDeleteMom tries very hard never to throw stuff away ~ because one person's rubbish is often another's treasure. Mom takes all no longer needed stuff to the Cats Protection shop ~ that way it helps homeless cats find forever homes. xx
That looks like a real good find.

Oh Minchie, that is so nice that Mom grabbed that plant for you. Those are the best kind, no water and it still won't die. That is such a good idea to do. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGreat find! It's an easy means to "free-cycle," and your mom won't have to remember to water it!
ReplyDeleteMinchie, what a handsome Plant that is, and know what's the best-est? Iffin' you forget your manners(as Emo-Mari often does!) and put the Bitey on the edges? It usually won't come off in pieces to make you feel grotty to the tum-tum!
ReplyDeleteQM needs ta get some greenery in here like that!
xo xo xo xo ~ xo
we think it looks good right there next to you!!! mom likes the idea of plants she can't kill, but grandma has a "no fake plant" rule and the plants may not survive a grandma visit - MOL
ReplyDeleteWell you look silky too, so you should get to pick the spot!
ReplyDeleteOh that is lovely!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is THAT that there's a designated spot for stuff to be repurposed!?! Minchie, your Mom did good!
ReplyDeleteWe like where it is right now! And thank you for posting the Tucker button. We hadn't noticed it before.
ReplyDeleteMinchie
ReplyDeleteHow purrty it is!

Just make sure your human puts it somewhere that helps you show off your handsomeness!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! I'm sure your mom will find the perfect spot for it. Moms are good at stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteLooks good to us right where it is.

We have something like that in our neighborhood. Mommie put a lamp out there. Unfortunately, some bad people picked the lamp up, smashed it, cut the cord into and twisted off the top. Why would someone do that?
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea, and the plant looks lovely where it is.
ReplyDeleteThat plant looks pretty nice to us!
ReplyDeleteThat was a good find by your mom!
ReplyDeleteWe have something here called Freecycle...you can post on a website stuff you wanna give away...too nice to be thrown away, but you don't think anybody would pay $$ for it. Kinda like a free Craig's List.
We luf free-cycling and it looks great! You can play jungle kitteh wif it!
