We are so excited! Mom's sister is coming to spend the night with us so we can all get up in the middle of the night to watch the Royal Wedding! This is the bed where our Auntie will sleep and Mom will alternate between the couch and recliner. Scones and tea will be served for breakfast. You are all welcome to join us!
Today is our Laila Ali's 4th birthday! Knowing her obsession with Costco boxes, our good friend, Ann over at Zoolatry, made this gorgeous graphic for her birthday. This box definitely has style! She has been sung to many times already today and will be spoiled with many extra treats and real tuna.
Yesterday one of our BFF, Sweet Praline, was helped to The Bridge. It was one of the saddest days ever in the Cat Blogosphere. Our hearts are just breaking over this huge loss. Our mom and Praline's mom talked on the phone for a real long time yesterday and we all feel better knowing she is doing okay and knows she did the right thing for her little girl. We can only imagine the huge crowd waiting for her arrival. 
And we know our sister, Cerise (RIP), a fellow Himmie, was at the front of that crowd to welcome her.
So, you went to celebrate Easter yesterday where they served ham and you DIDN'T bring us any leftovers? You have a VERY unhappy Mancat on your hands! 
This chick cupcake was all she brought home. She had it for breakfast this morning with her coffee. HAM would have been a much better choice with all the protein it has.
She's not such a cute little princess of late. I have tons of little kitten scratch marks all over me. I'd forgotten how painful those can be! Poor Lilly is being "attacked" with them too. Mine I know are purely accidental but poor Lilly!

This is Roomba, one of the many feral kitties Mom fed at her day hunting job (when she had one). In the background is the ROAD all those ferals would cross every day, all day long. When Mom would watch, she'd hold her breath and pray none of them would get hit by a car. It was amazing to watch, though, as you could see their ears turning like radar listening for the cars and trucks. Thank cod she never saw one get hit!
It seems like every time I sit down at the computer Laila all of a sudden decides she wants my undivided attention. She won't stop pawing at me and mewing until I pick her up. How can I resist my little cutie pie? 
Mom really spoils us by making it very easy to get up on our cat tree.
This is my favorite part of our playground. All it needs is a Costco box. Just sayin'. 
Laila is the picture on this calendar of Mom's she got for Christmas for the month of April. Every time Mom walks past it she breaks out in song "I love, I love my calendar girl" by Neil Sedaka. Since it's on the refrigerator, you can imagine how many times a day we have to hear this! 
Mom said this is the best picture she has ever taken of me. About time after the thousands of blindings by that evil flashy box!
Funny card Mom got for her birthday a few months ago. 
It's gonna be a hot one today (88!) so I think I'll hang out in the coolness of my red Costco box. Later we're suppose to get some fierce storms and already Mom is getting nervous.

Today is my sweet turkish princess and ladycat's, Baby Patches, third birthday! Be sure to go visit her and wish her a happy birthday. I'm getting ready to teleport over on my boogie mat to sunny California to surprise her. I may not be back! MOL!

With a toy box overflowing with every cat toy imaginable, this is Laila's absolute favorite toy. It's what's left of a once beautiful peacock feather. If you look closely, you'll see all the areas Mom has taped.
Mom has never seen Laila move as fast as she does when she bring it out and starts waving it all over the floor. Laila catches it within seconds.
One of Laila's favorite spots for the "stick" to go under is her boogie mat. She pounces on it before you can even blink an eye.
