Sticking the needle in the base of the "tent" underneath the skin.
Mom adjusting the IV tube.
It's in and Lilly doesn't even know what's going on.
Such a good girl!
Lilly must have been a very special girl.Eva & Gracie's Mom
A very very good girl, and a sweet and touching group of photos.
She was such a good girl! I used to have to give Toby his Interferon that way and he barely flinched. They're a LOT braver than us!
What wonderful, comforting hands your mom had for Lilly. I love your new header!
When my mommy gives me my shot, twice a day, I not mind, acause I know she loves me. I'm sure Lily felt the same way!Healing hands are good. Loving, healing hands are the most special of all!
Your photos brought back so many memories=I gave my Mom's cat, Asia fluids daily for over 5 years and my Nikki fluids for almost 2 years; they both lived quality lives until 20...I had been doing Asia's for about 2 years when Nik's fluids started and I still cried so hard the first time I had to stick her; they were both wonderful and seemed to understand it had to be done...I believe it is a great way to help add fulfilling years to their lives...It is a total act of love and devotion, Peggy...We also gave fluids to my Mom's dog for almost 2 years as well...big hugs...J
PS...Your Lily was a gorgeous girl and you were so lucky to have each other!...xoxo
Lilly was VERY good for those fluids! The Woman is impressed.
My human does not think that any of us would be as good as Lilly with having this done!
That brought back memories for our mom. She used to give sub-qs to Bogart, one of the cats that came before us. She always gave the fluids in the neck area, never on side like your mom is doing. She didn't know you could do fluids like that.
Awwww! Sweet Lilly. We know she appreciated all your mom did to help her feel better.
Lily was such a beautiful girl...your Mom is beautiful too to have taken such good care of her xoxo
Meow at us!
