Today's flashback is from May 2008 featuring Angel Lilly
Thankful Thursday
We are furry thankful that Mom knows how to give
sub-q fluids at home so Lilly doesn't have to go to the V-E-T every day
to get stuck with the sub-q needle plus it would cost too many green
papers.

Beins are SO good ta us...
ReplyDeleteKudos that your mom was so good about giving you fluids. I learned something--I "assumed" the needle had to go near the scruff of the neck, but apparently it doesn't!
ReplyDeleteLilly was a sweetie pie!
ReplyDeleteMy human learned how to do this with Sparkle... but she was not very good at it!
ReplyDeleteShe sure was a good girl. My Dad gives me fluids at home from time to time too.
ReplyDeleteShe really is a good girl! The head peep never learned to do this for Cyrano way back when, so she's impressed to see both of you making it look so easy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good girl Lilly was. Our mom did sub-qs on one of the cats that came before us.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good girl Lilly was. We did the same with Simba for several years and briefly with Bucky before that. It definitely helps when the kitty is so good. That's a great idea about using the kitchen counter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good girl you were for your fluids, Angel Lilly! This brings back so many memories of giving my Angel Rosie fluids at home. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteShe was a good kitty. Spooky was good about his fluids too, I hope to never have to do it again, but I will for any that need it.
ReplyDeletewhat a sweetheart and so pretty! xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
