We like sitting with Mom while she wastes time works on our blog and we visit our friends.  Just because her sister is on vacation this week, she thinks she's on vacation too, so we are way behind in visiting and commenting.

Laila is thankful for the hairball medicine Mom gives us every week.  We rarely see hairballs on the floor, which makes Mom very happy because if there is one, she'll undoubtedly step on it.

International Box Day

In celebration of International Box Day, Mom made a special trip to Costco yesterday to get me a new box.  It's very festive, only she didn't bring any of the nuggets home for us.  But she did buy one of their rotisserie chick-hens which she shared with us.  YUM!

Mancat Monday/Meet Misha

 Mom says we have to close the curtains later this morning when the HOTS (near 100F/38C) come, so I'm soaking up some rays now.

MEET MISHA!

 As promised, here are a few pictures of Misha, the kitty Mom was cat sitting for this weekend.  She's very tiny, very soft and so sweet.

 It was hard for Mom to get pictures of her because she was all over Mom rubbing up against her legs and doing roly-polys on the floor.

It was nice meeting you, Misha!  Mom looks forward to cat sitting for you again.

Mom is cat sitting for a kitty in our other condo building this weekend that she's never sat for before.  She's a beautiful, petite gray tuxedo named Misha.  Mom will try to get some pictures of her.

Friday Flashback

Today's flashback is from February 2009.  It's Angel's first day when he came to live with us for that year.

WE HAVE A GUEST

Auntie Dee, who is one of our neighbors, is having wood floors installed in her condo so her kitty, Angel, will be staying with us a while. Until he gets use to us, Mom is keeping him in the bedroom.

Angel is under the bed and I am on guard to make sure nothing happens to him and to keep him from being scairt.

Angel came out to use his litter and grab a bite but then saw Mom at the bedroom door with that evil flashy box so he scrambled back under the safety of the bed. Laila doesn't really know what to make of him but I love having another Mancat in the house with me.

Where's Laila?

This is a sight we never see!  Laila up on the dresser.  Mom ran for the flashy box and quickly took this picture.  Mom is totally obsessed with Marie (the white kitten) and the Aristocats.

FLUTTER BALL

This is now Laila's absolute favorite toy!

She thinks it's a real birdie. Plays with and "kills" it then picks it up in her mouth and runs away with it just to drop it and start the little game all over again. It was hard to get this picture as she moves quick! It's so funny to watch! Who needs TV!

Today is Hug Your Cat Day.  Well, in our house, we get hugged many times a day.

This is Mom hugging me the day she brought me home from The Buddy Foundation.

She gives very excellent hugs!

 

I think I was giving Mom smoochies on her face.

Today we are chillaxin and resting our toesies from all the fun we had and dancing we did at Truffle's debutante ball yesterday.

Today is our friend, sweet Truffle's, first birthday and in celebration, Mom Paula had a Debutante Ball in her honor.  Visit HERE to see all the beautiful and handsome attendees.

Of course, Minchie attended with his turkish princess, Baby Patches. 

Laila had to be a tag-along as her mancat,  Loki, is busy selling his house.

We wish sweet Truffle a very Happy 1st Birthday (and sweet little Beignet too up at the Bridge).  She has turned into a simply gorgeous ladycat!  Looking forward to sister, Brulee's, first birthday in August now.
