This is a picture of Mom wearing her favorite t-shirt with the flag on it giving our sister-who-came-before-us, Lilly, her subq fluids back in May of last year. Lilly was such a good girl for Mom when she did this. Mom has lots and lots of experience in giving the fluids because she'd done it with Cerise for well over a year before that. 
Lilly is a good girl getting those. Mom gave sub-qs to Bogart, one that came before us. He didn't like getting them much but he did put up with it...maybe cuz he knew it made him feel better...we never met Bogart...mom sez he was pretty feisty!
ReplyDeleteOh yes...sweet Lilly was a very good and beautiful girl. Sub Q fluids are very very good for sick little peoples...mommy has gived some of us fluids before when we have been sick. They make us feel better and warm and cozy...like takin' a warm bubble bath.

My cat Milo had to go to the vet to get those a few times. How I wish I could do them myself! It would have spared me the vet bills.

ReplyDeleteI am hoping not to have to do this for my Chloe... she is spry and doesn't act like she feels bad although she is so old, I know her joints hurt and she does have kidney failure. But she still eats and drinks on her own. My daughter used to have a flag t-shirt too. My flags are here.
