Mancat Monday

Minchie is waiting for Mom to come sit in the recliner, spread the blankie over her so he can lay down and sleep in her lap.  It is his most favorite thing in the world, and will make quite the pest of himself until she gives in.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

 Laila is reflecting on the old year wondering what the new year will bring.

Cousin Bailey is on the road traveling to her new home in Florida with Mom's niece.  She is being a very good girl and loving the car ride.  We wish them a very safe trip.

We are wishing all of our friends a very safe and Happy New Year!  See everyone next year!

Formerly Feral Friday

It's hard to believe this cute "little" girl was once a tiny little feral kitten running around an apartment complex until caught by The Buddy Foundation.  Sadly, she was the only one of her siblings caught.  With a lot of patience and work, she adapted to the good life indoors.

Thankful Thursday

What a nice surprise to receive a Christmas package last week from our very good friends over at Jacqueline's Cat House.

Laila has her eye on that baggie overflowing with mousies.  Calle, Halle, Sukki, Mommy and Daddy Cat also sent duplicates of what you see here for Angel!  How so sweet of them to think of him!  Mom hasn't gone downstairs to give them to him yet but will take pictures when she does.  Thank you so much for thinking of us at Christmas.  You are so sweet to think of us at Christmas.

Remember JoJo and Sammy that Mom cat sits for in our building?  Well, their daddy is going to Hawaii on vacation tomorrow and she will be taking care of them for 12 days, so you will be seeing some pictures of them in the days to come.

Secret Paws Presents!

Mom finally let us open our Secret Paws package from our new friends, Penelope and Kozmo, of Cat From Hell's Blog.

Holy carp!  The box was stuffed with all kinds of goodies!!!

We sniffed and sniffed for quite some time all the interesting smells that came with it.  In fact, at one point, we started smacking each other around because we didn't want to share all the great toys and treats with each other.

Mom even got a present!  From Penelope and Kozmo's mom.  A calendar of her cat paintings!  Mom is so excited because this will be the calendar she keeps on our frig and will be able to see it every day!  Thank you so much for all the pawsome goodies and most of all we are thankful for the wonderful new friends we have made!

Thankful Thursday

Laila is very thankful that Mom doesn't put up our Christmas tree anymore because she is terrified of it.  Mom says Laila is more important to her than any tree.  Plus, Mom just knows that I, Minchie, would climb it!
