EASY SUNDAY MORNING

All the fog from yesterday and the rain this morning has left us just exhausted! Looks like it will be another day that Mom can't make the bed.

Where Are the Decorations?

This is the extent of our decorating for Christmas so far because Mom has a cold and just isn't up to it.  You'll notice my Cat Advent Calendar from Trader Joe's behind me and only three of the doors open.  Well, the treats are too big and hard to eat even broken up.  Oh well, it was a very cute idea.

Flashback Friday

Today's sweet flashback from January 2010 shows these two precious angel mancats waiting for Mom to come home from being gone for a weekend. 

MANCAT MONDAY

This is Angel and I waiting for Mom to come back from her scrapbooking weekend. Angel's mom took very good care of us while she was away. Out of all of us we think Angel was the happiest to see Mom. It was so cute and she was squeeing up a storm.

This is the house where Mom stayed. It had some killer icicles hanging all around. Luckily it was bitter cold so they weren't melting and in danger of hitting someone. Yesterday morning the actual low got down to -10F/-23C.

All of her friends who had cats missed their furries and were anxious to get back home to them. Mom's real good friend was working on an album of her kitties. She and her fambily have always had black cats. The picture of her friend with the reindeer ears holding her kitty is taken in his "deluxe condo in the sky" on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. What a view they have!

Love My Tissues

Oh how I love laying on my tissues!  Pretty soon Mom will have to put out Christmas ones for me.

FORMERLY FERAL FRIDAY

Mom couldn't believe how close Angel and I were on the bed.

She then scooted me over right up next to him and we laid like that for a very long time. This would never happen first thing in the morning (usually 4:50am) as we are too busy growling and hissing at each other. Mom says "Go figure!"

Laila Ali vs. the cube

 One of my favorite things to play with is my cube.

Sometimes I get a little carried away and beat the you-know-what out of it!  Mom gets a huge laugh from watching this.

Early Christmas Present

If there is a Trader Joe's store near where you live, be sure to have your mom or dad go there and get you one of these cool advent calendars for cats.  They sell out fast and ours only gets one box of them per day, so go early.
