Cat Circus and Rock Concert

Yesterday Mom and Angel's Mom went to see a cat circus and rock concert!  They have been featured on Animal Planet's "Must Love Cats" show. 

These are the Acro Cats performing.  Mom took tons of pictures but most didn't turn out because they were so blurry.

This is Tuna and The Rock Cats.  And yes, that is a chick-hen on the tambourine and cymbal.  Tuna is the kitty to the right of the chick-hen.

After the show they got to go up on stage and meet them purrsonally, but they could not be touched.  This is Pink standing next to her pink guitar.

Here the band is waiting for Angel's mom to give them treats.  You should see the treats they get as a reward for doing their tricks!  Real ahi tuna, tuna and chick-hen!

Meet Dakota, the drummer.  Very impressive!

On the right, Nue on the keyboards.  Billy Joel and Elton John would be very impressed!

This is what they travel the country in.  They live in Chicago and we think they may be home for a spell now that the holidays are near.  If they ever come to your city, Mom highly recommends seeing them.  It was so much fun!

Yesterday Mom and Angel's Mom went to see the movie "Puss in Boots" and loved it!  When they got to the theater, everyone was asking how we reacted to the Puss in Boots cardboard display and where she put it.

 Besides Laila rubbing all over her cat hair magnet, she loves to hang out in the middle of the brushes to play.

She doesn't play just normal cat games, but likes them complicated and challenging.

Meet Mom's Newest Rescue

 What the heck did Mom drag home now!

 I need to check this dude out very carefully!

 Laila even worked up the courage to help me out.

 He appears one dimensional, so I don't think he's a threat.

Our Mom took Angel's grandpa to the movies one day and they saw them taking down one of the movie displays so Mom asked what they did with them.  They toss them in the dumpster!  She couldn't let them do that to Mr. Puss in Boots so she begged and pleaded with the nice general manager and he said he would call her when they took the Puss in Boots display down and she could come rescue him before he ended up in the dumpster.  Mom and Angel's mom are going to see the movie this Friday and she will take Mr. Puss in Boots down to meet Angel and get some pictures of the two orange dudes together.  In fact, Mr. Puss in Boots may end up living with Angel.
