I think we mentioned how Minchie just loves to watch television. Here he was engrossed in an Animal Planet show about cheetahs. Mom even pulled up a chair for him.

Easy like Sunday morning

We are so worn out! At 5:30 am this morning we started doing everything possible to get mom up to serve us our breakfast treats and breakfast. Finally after an hour she couldn't take Minchie Meow's meowing and got up . It worked! Now we have some sleep to catch up on. Mom, later today we'll let you take a nap too.

Helping Mom with the dishes

Minchie just loves to hang out in the kitchen sink. Mom is always shooshing him out.

"Oh my, it's taken me all morning to wash just this one tiny plate."

A day to dry out

Minchie here. I love to watch tv. Here I am watching the weatherman telling us about all the rain that fell from the sky yesterday...ALL DAY LONG! We got in excess of 3 inches.

Here we are surveying the damage to our flowers. None noted.

Sweet dreams sweet Texas

Sweet Texas, we know it was your time but our eyes are leaking anyway since we have lost such a dear furrend. Don't worry, we'll watch over your mommy and daddy and stay in touch with them. We will light a candle for you tonight. Thank you for being such a good furrend.

Minchie here. I sit like this a lot with my front legs crossed. It's not that I'm not a manly Mancat, it's just very comfy and it shows how regal I am. In my native country of Turkey, I was King!

We would like everyone to meet our good furrend, Boo Bear. Isn't he a very handsome mancat? We are featuring him today because he is a survivor of the 2005 hurricane Katrina. He lived in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi within walking distance to the ocean and his house got washed away. Luckily he and his fambly evacuated but they lost everything. They now live in Reno, Nevada. We know these horrible hurricanes dredge up bad memories for them. We are purraying for all the kitties and their beans down there in Gustav's path that they stay dry and safe.
