Flashback Friday

Today's flashback is from July 6, 2008, the day Mom brought Minchie home to live with us.

HE'S HERE!!! 

Mom here. Minchie has taken to our place like a fish to water! He's totally, 100% comfortable here! It's extremely difficult to type as he keeps jumping up on my lap and trying to get my undivided attention. When I brought him in I placed him on the living room floor and just waited for Laila to come over. She was very curious and they sniffed each other a lot through the mesh of the carrier then all of a sudden she hissed at him and steered clear. Where is she now?

Minchie knows Laila is under the couch and is waiting for her to come out and play. In time.

Minchie is all snuggled up in this blankie since we finally were able to turn the air conditioning off yesterday.  We don't even remember the last time we had window whiffies.

Black Cat Appreciation Day

Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day so we are paying tribute to our sister Angel Binky Baby.  She ran off to the Bridge eleven years ago before we started blogging.  She was so pretty and very sweet and lovable and slept with Mom every night.  Mom still misses her

Mancat Monday

I just love to rest my paws on the computer keyboard.  Sometimes I hit a key and it does weird things and Mom gets a little upset.

We have the Mom of Chey, Ichiro and Gemini visiting with us!  She got here yesterday afternoon and it has been non-stop talking since.  They went out to an Italian restaurant for dinner last night.  Right now she is still sleeping in our big bed getting ready for her trip back home this morning.  Laila even came out!  What fun we are having!

World Cat Day

We are celebrating World Cat Day today by remembering all the wonderful cat shelters and foster homes that go above and beyond to help homeless cats. We both came from a cat shelter and the same foster mom, so today we also remember Sue, our foster mom, who works so tirelessly for all the kitties. When she isn't at her day hunting job, you can always find her at The Buddy Foundation.
