Come on, Mom, it's time to replace the printer ink cartridge.
JoJo and Sammy's dad was suppose to get back home from his business trip in India yesterday but it has been extended a few more days. He gets back Christmas Eve now. It has been six weeks Mom has been taking care of them. Hoping they remember who he is!
Laila loves laying on the spots where the heat pipes are under the floor. JoJo and Sammy, who Mom has been cat sitting for the past four weeks, do the same thing in their condo.
We hope all of our American CB friends
have a very Happy Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for your friendship
over the years and we are also thankful for the many new friends we have
met this year.
Come on, Mom, help me do my blog post this morning!
Well, we are sharing our mom with our neighbors, JoJo and Sammy, starting tonight as their dad is going on another business trip. This time he's going to India and will be gone 37 DAYS!!!
Mom has put my winter blankie on the bed but with this warmish weather Chicago has been having, I haven't been on it much. But I'm sure in time that will change.
Mom and I were watching game two of the World Series last night. Our Chicago Cubs vs. Cleveland Indians. Our Cubbies won! Game three and four will be played Friday and Saturday here in ChiTown. You know where we will be and what we'll be doing!
For many years Mom fed and provided shelter to the feral cats that hung around her office building.
This
little trio of kittens were rescued by Mom and her boss in 2003 in the
back lot of the office. The little gray one ended up being our cousin,
Angel Gizmo, who lived with Mom's sister.
Angel Gizmo preferred Christmas trees to outside trees after his rescue.
These are just a few of the many ferals
that hung around or visited over the years. The building was sold the
summer of 2009 so the ferals have gone elsewhere. Mom drives down that
street often and still looks for her buddies but has never seen one.
National Feral Cat Day was launched in 2001 by Alley Cat Allies,
the national advocate for feral and stray cats and a recognized
authority on Trap‐Neuter‐Return. Check out their site for information on
lots of ways you can help feral cats!
