Mancat Monday

We're sure those of you who order from Chewy recognize this packing material.  

 

As soon as Mom took it out of the box from our last order, Minchie ran over and started checking it out.

 

We think he has found a good spot.

 

Yep!  

 

And of course the box makes for a great place to hide and snooze in.

When Mom went to Ireland eight years ago, she took a picture of this public toilet in the Village of Cong, where they filmed the movie "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara.

Here is another picture of a public toilet. This was taken at Moriarty's - Gap of Dunloe Industries in Killarney, Ireland.

This public toilet is located in the Irish port of Cobh, formerly known as Queenstown, the last port the Titanic called at on April 11, 1912.

And these toilets are NOT public. MOM! Put that flashy box away so we can take care of business!

Minchie is very thankful for yet another comfy blankie bed Mom has made for him.

Floofy white tummy furs and and toesies from Laila today.  That little white furry toy is her baby that she carries around at night making little mewing noises.

Mancat Monday Guest

Mom went to Petsmart a few days ago and found Laila's twin!  Meet Conrad.  He's a HUGE Maine Coon mix.  He would not look at Mom as she tried to take his picture with her phone.  Oh how she wishes she could adopt this gorgeous mancat!  Three kitties is just too many for our one bedroom condo.

Every time you turn around, Mom is making very comfy spots for us to snooze and chillax.  Every inch of wall space is used.  Sometimes Mom says she gets claustrophobic from it all.

Black Cat Appreciation Day

Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day so we are paying tribute to our sister Angel Binky Baby.  She ran off to the Bridge ten years ago before we started blogging.  She was so pretty and very sweet and lovable and slept with Mom every night.  Mom still misses her

Caturday Matinee

We are having fun playing with leftover bubbles from Mom's nephew's wedding last weekend.  Usually Minchie just watches, but this time he decided to try to catch them.

Winter Go Away!

I'm going to spend the rest of the winter here under my towel blankie. The weatherman said this morning we've had 52 inches of snow so far making it the 6th snowiest winter on record. Boohoohoo! Since this is my first winter, I hope this is the last with all the bitter cold and all that snow!

Guess I can come out of hiding now.  Mom has recuperated from all the wedding festivities and is finally all rested up so we are back in the loop once again.

We love when Mom gets big envelopes like this in the mail.  She lets us have them because we just love laying on them. 

 

We won't be around after today because a nephew of Mom's (her sister's son) is getting married Saturday and she won't be home much to help us blog or visit.  See you Monday!

Sam is only a lap cat in the hot weather.  Silly guy!

 

Our cousins, Sam and Henry, who moved to Portland, Oregon two weeks ago with Mom's niece and hubby are settling in very nicely in their new apartment.  Unfortunately an awful heat wave of 100+ degree temps and no air conditioning made for very unhappy kitties.  Window a/c's are not allowed so Mom's niece went out and bought them one of those portable a/c's and now they are very happy kitties.

Happy Birthday to Our Cousin

Happy 10th Birthday to our doggie cousin, Lady.  She has always thought our mom was her mom because they have the same color hair, only Lady's is natural.  MOL!
