Minchie makes quite the mess when he decides to eat his stinky goodness with his paw.  Mom doesn't understand why he does this.  He just does it once in awhile.

Maybe if I hide my face she'll go away with that flashy box and let me have my Easy Sunday in peace and quiet.

Today's theme is FUNNY. 

Sometimes Minchie sits on this little stool just waiting for the front door to open so he can zoom out into the hallway.  It's so funny watching Mom take off after him trying to corral him back inside.

It's also funny that Laila's tail photobombed this picture!

Flashback Friday

When Laila was a kitten, Mom would clip four tunnels together to make one big one for her.

Laila loved her tunnel and had lots of fun with it running in and out all day and even snoozing in it.

Thankful Thursday

Laila is thankful that Mom is finally able to help us blog once again.  She has been very busy with her "caregiver ministry" the past few days.  By the look on Laila's face, it doesn't look like she's going to let Mom up from the recliner any time soon!

Mancat Monday and Happy Tocktober Derby

When I want to get Mom's undivided attention, all I have to do is jump up here on top of this book shelf and start nomming on this big fake plant.  Real plants don't appeal to me.  Go figure!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Minchie has decided to take it easy this Easy Sunday while Mom does all the work on our blog this morning.

Photo Hunt - Rock

Today's theme is ROCK.

Mom went to see The Rock Cats and their rock concert three years ago! After the show she got to go up on stage and meet them purrsonally, but they could not be touched.  They travel all over the country and highly recommend you go see them if they come to your town.  When not traveling, they live in Chicago.

Flashback Friday

Back when Laila was a kitten, this was her favorite place to hang out and take a bath.

National Feral Cat Day

For many years Mom fed and provided shelter to the feral cats that hung around her office building.

This little trio of kittens were rescued by Mom and her boss in 2003 in the back lot of the office. The little gray one ended up being our cousin, Angel Gizmo, who lived with Mom's sister.

Angel Gizmo preferred Christmas trees to outside trees after his rescue.

These are just a few of the many ferals that hung around or visited over the years. The building was sold the summer of 2009 so the ferals have gone elsewhere. Mom drives down that street often and still looks for her buddies but has never seen one. 

National Feral Cat Day was launched in 2001 by Alley Cat Allies, the national advocate for feral and stray cats and a recognized authority on Trap‐Neuter‐Return. Check out their site for information on lots of ways you can help feral cats!

Laila doesn't look very happy that Mom ran off and didn't finish combing her tummy furs.

Going to be doing a lot of this, this coming week as Mom is going to be super busy helping out getting a friend to the hospital for tests and another friend for a surgery and follow up doctor visits.  So hopefully we'll be able to post each day but visiting will be very sporadic.
