Mancat Monday

We couldn't wait to get up yesterday morning to see how Mom's nephew did in the Loch Ness marathon over in Loch Ness, Scotland Sunday morning.  They are six hours ahead of us.  This was his first marathon and he ran it in under 4 hours!!!  Way to go, cousin!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

 Mom was clipping these two leopard cubes together one day when Minchie jumped up immediately and claimed one before Mom could even finish.

 Then Laila jumped up and claimed the other one.

Now it rests where the Costco boxes usually are and Laila literally lives in it.  Guess no more Costco boxes for a while.  Great place to spend an Easy Sunday.

No Sink Water!

 Mom has been such a slacker when it comes to our sink water since she's been taking care of our cousins.  There is no water dripping out of our sink.

Laila, it's your turn to go tell Mom to turn it on for us.

In yesterday's post, the cute cat towels were from a friend who came to visit Mom a few years back who lives in The Netherlands.  We have quite the international bathroom!

We Got Mail!

 Do you recognize these two handsome mancats?  Why, it's Rumbles and Hammy from down under in New Zealand!  They sent us a package with this adorable card and the cutest duckie ever!

Here's Minchie posing with his new buddy.  We are naming him Rumbleduckie.

 

And Rumbleduckie fits in perfect with our blue color theme in the bathroom.

Thank you so much, Rumbles and Hammy, for our card and new buddy!  It was so very sweet of you to think of us when Rumblemum saw this in the store.  We will treasure it forever.

Mom apologizes if she doesn't get around to visiting everyone the next eleven days.  Going back and forth between our house and our cousin's house (even though it's only 2 miles away) isn't giving her much time on the computer.

Mancat Monday

Mom can't get over how much Minchie loves to watch cat videos on the internet.  Here he is watching one of our buddy, Jb Bean, and his red mousies on Facebook.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

While Mom is slaving away doing laundry, we are spending our Easy Sunday snuggled up to her dirty clothes.

For the next two weeks, Mom will be going between our house and our cousins Lady and Sushimi's house while their family is across the pond in England, Scotland and Germany.  Unfortunately she'll be sleeping at their house, but that's okay as she'll be here during the day with us.

Thankful Thursday

Cousin Sushimi is very thankful that Mom went with her sister to take Sushimi to the V-E-T yesterday.  Sushimi sang the song of her people all the way there and back.  To keep her calm, Mom gave her lots of kitty massages and stayed with her while they tried to steal her urine.

In nine days Mom will be staying at Cousin Sushimi's house to dog/cat/house sit again for two weeks, but will come each day to spend lots of time with us during the day.

ANGEL'S VET VISIT

Dr. Jen is having a hard time getting Angel out of his PTU. How did all of that cat get squeezed in there?

Good news! Angel is down 1.5 pounds! Not letting him have access to our food and "playing" and "running" with us is working!

Everything is sounding good. He got one shot and clean bill of health!
