Oh, yes, getting butt scritches and sink water at the same time!

As a thank you to Mom, I use my silky soft head furs to polish the faucet after the mess I've made.

It's All About Us

This is the reason why Mom can't keep pretty things on the vanity.  Get Minchie up there and it really gets crowded!

We are getting ready for Brulee's first birthday party tomorrow.

First, we'll nom on some stinky goodness and crunchies.

Then we'll hit the litter boxes.

Then a little wrassling match.

Then resting up all day.

It's Caturday!

The hot, hot, HOTS are back today!  Gonna hide out in the nice cool bathroom on my rug if anyone is looking for me.

MISCHIEVOUS MANCAT MONDAY

Minchie just loves to jump up on top of the bookcase. Sometimes he jumps from there to the back of the recliner when Mom is sitting in it and scares the poopies out of her.

Then he's really in trouble when he starts chewing on the fake plant leaves. Mom doesn't know he's up there until she hears the chewing. He's quite a handful at times!

Black Cat Appreciation Day

Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day.

Our sister who came before us, Binky Baby.  She has been gone for seven years now.  What a beauty she was!

 

Here are our cousins, Sam (the three-legged bundle of energy on top) and Henry, who live with Mom's niece.  They look like a two-headed kitty.  MOL!

P-T-U Alert!

 Minchie busy sniffing out every inch of this unfamiliar P-T-U.

Turns out, this P-T-U belongs to our buddy, Angel.  Mom keeps it in our storage locker for his mom as our mom always takes him and his mom to the vet when needed.

Mancat Monday

Minchie on cicada patrol, just in case.  Thankfully they never come inside!

Yesterday we talked about the noisy locusts.  Well, they really are cicadas, not locusts.  (We need to send our secretary back to school!)  For those of you who do not have them in your areas or countries, here's a video of what they sound like.  Sometimes they are so loud we can't hear our tv!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

This is the third day in a row that we've had all the windows open and the whiffies blowing in!  We aren't use to all the noisy outside noises either, especially the locusts, which are about to drive Mom crazy.  And this coming weekend they are predicting fall-like temps! 

It's Caturday!

You may think by looking at this picture that Laila is in trouble and  in the corner in a "time out".  No, this is where she sits when she wants Mom to give her some Petromalt, which is kept in the medicine cabinet above her head.

Minchie is only up to showing one froot bat today.

Time To Pay the Bills

Oh, here, Mom, let me help you pay the bills.

 

ARGH!  If I only had a thumb it would make this so much easier.

 

Oh, well, I make a great paper weight instead.

World Cat Day

We are celebrating World Cat Day today by remembering all the wonderful cat shelters and foster homes that go above and beyond to help homeless cats. We both came from a cat shelter and the same foster mom, so today we also remember Sue, our foster mom, who works so tirelessly for all the kitties. When she isn't at her day hunting job, you can always find her at The Buddy Foundation.

And a special thanks today to Ann at Zoolatry for designing these beautiful graphics for us. You are the best!

Tail Tuesday

Minchie's "coonskin" tail is just too floofy to fit on his ham-mick.

Window Whiffies - Finally!

OMC!  It finally cooled off enough last night that Mom opened up the bedroom window and living room slider.  Last time was sometime the end of June!  We have a lot of window whiffing to get caught up on!
