Thankful Thursday
I am very thankful that Mom bought me this Cat Hair Magnet. It took some getting use to how to use it. So Mom trained me on it's benefits. Now each morning I beg her to brush me.
As soon as I see my mom holding my brush, I run over to the Magnet.

Tummy and Toesies Tuesday
We are letting our cousins, Sushimi and Lady, have the Tummy and Toesies Tuesday post today since Mom is now finally home from staying with them for four days.
Sushimi has the white tummy and toesies like we have. Right away we know she is A-okay in our books! Mom says she loves her tummy rubbed and will act like a roly poly bug when you do. She looks like our kind of girl!
Everyone thinks Lady thinks Mom is her mom because their hair/fur is the same color. Her golden tummy also loves to be rubbed and immediately rolls over on her back for you with all of her toesies up in the air loving every minute of it. We never met a woofie before but know in time we'd be the boss over her just like Sushimi is.

Sharing Mom
Mom is cat/dog/house sitting for her sister's fambly while they are away for four days. She is spending time with us but sleeps at Sushimi and Lady's house.
What is especially hard is that Cousin Gizmo isn't there anymore because he ran away to the Bridge a few months ago. But Sushimi is more than making up for his absence. We really don't mind Mom dividing her time between both houses because we know she'll be back for good Monday afternoon.

Formerly Feral Friday
For quite a long time Mom has been wanting to get one of these for us. She finally gave in and did seeing how much all of our CB friends love theirs. Well, Mom is very disappointed that the only time I played with it was the day she put it together. It's like Minchie can't even see it. She has put it away and brought it out a few times but I still show no interest. She's even tried different kinds of balls in the track. Sorry Mom!

Mancat Monday
Ah, yes, the days when all the windows were open and all the nice clean, cool, no humid air would come into the house. We only get the east exposure so no nice cross breezes come in to keep our furs nice and cool and aired out. Mom keeps counting the days until fall, her favorite season, but that's no guarantee Mother Nature will cooperate.

Thankful Thursday
I am very thankful that I knew my big sister, Lilly, for a year before she went to the Bridge (at age 17) two years ago. This is about as close as we ever got as she was a senior kitty with health issues and didn't have the patience for a crazy kitten like me. But she did enjoy watching all my antics and I was more than happy to keep her entertained. Mom and I still miss her very much.

Wordy Wednesday
Remember JoJo, the neighbor kitty Mom cat sat for back in February while her mom and dad went to Hawaii? We have been very sad for the past 5 days because her mom, Debbie, passed away from cancer. Mom is going to her memorial service tonight with a bunch of neighbors. We can't imagine how much JoJo is missing her mom. Mom is sad too because she has lost a good friend.

Toesies Tuesday
Here is a picture when Angel was living with us of he and Laila showing off all their toesies. We miss having him here, but he is doing great in his house being Top Cat and King of the Castle. When Mom goes down to visit him, he immediately runs to his food bowl in the kitchen thinking she's going to put nummies in it. MOL!

World Cat Day
We are celebrating World Cat Day today by remembering all the wonderful cat shelters and foster homes that go above and beyond to help homeless cats. We both came from a cat shelter and the same foster mom, so today we also remember Sue, our foster mom, who works so tirelessly for all the kitties. When she isn't at her day hunting job, you can always find her at The Buddy Foundation.
And a special thanks today to Ann at Zoolatry for designing these beautiful graphics for us today. You are the best!

Thankful Thursday
Mom got a great deal at Petsmart on line for this thing that's called a Cat Hair Magnet. It took me a few weeks to get the hang of what this thing is for.
It makes a great platform for me to chillax on.
It's now one of my favorite spots.

Many times I fall asleep on it. Finally I am using it for what it was meant to be. In the morning I make a real pest out of myself for Mom to brush me. Now when she starts brushing me I walk over to the Magnet and she takes care of the back half of me while I rub up against the great brush on this and get my face, head and neck. Talk about being in kitty heaven! If I had thumbs, I'd give it a two thumbs up!

Mancat Monday Guest
We would like to introduce you to a new friend of ours, Father Tom who blogs over at Temptation of Christ Parish. He had his first ever contest and we won!
And this is what we won! A beautiful Jim Shore angel holding a cat, who looks just like our good buddy Angel!
We are keeping it here in this place of honor. Mom is just crazy over this little statue and wanted it out where she could see it no matter where she sat in the living room.
Thank you so much, Father Tom, for this gorgeous prize! We will cherish it forever and each time we see it we will think of you. Everyone, please be sure to check out Father Tom's website. He's a very handsome Maine Coon mancat who lives in Maine.
