Laila looks so cute curled up next to her little toesie.

Looks like a feather is growing out of her head too.

We have a very important job this week. A big joosie moth got inside our house last night and it's scaring the bageebees out of Mom so we have been commissioned to catch it for her. She says we get lots of extra Temptations when we have deaded it for her.

Mancat Monday

Mom got a new cordless swivel sweeper she uses to clean up the litter that she says WE track out of the litter boxes.

I wasn't too keen on the other one we use to have either and now she brings home something totally different I have to get use to.

Everyone, I can't say I'm liking this new one either! It's like having a baby sucky monster around!

Mom says my little head is not in proportion to my body. Two of our vets independently thought I may have some Maine Coon in me because of my length and build. Nonetheless, I am Mom's beautiful little girl.

Mom spent a couple of weeks reading and proofing a new book written by one of her good friends. Time reading this book was time away from paying attention to ME! This was my solution to the problem.

Oh my gosh! I won Best in Show and a Best Homemade Costoom Award (thank you Angus Mohr) in the 3rd Annual Cat Bloggers Halloween Costoom Contest ! We thought it honor enough just to be included in the 19 finalists much less win Best in Show! It was a tough field of contestants and every one of them deserved to win in our opinion.

Thank you to all of our furrends around the world for voting for me. Even my former daddy all the way in the country of Turkey helped get the vote out! Thanks dad!

I wonder if the human The Donald voted for me?

Thankful Thursday

Remember when Victor Tabbycat and Nina Torbie's mom came to visit us a few weeks ago? Well, she brought us some fresh, home grown Whiskonsin catnip.

We would like to thank everyone for their kinds words of support and sympathy on the loss of my mancat cousin, Gizmo.

I always wanted an indoor pool like cousin Gizmo had!

RIP Cousin Gizmo

Momma's heart is broken. Our cousin Gizmo ran off to the Bridge yesterday morning. He had chronic renal failure and was failing fast. Of course she drove our auntie and him to the vet and watched him pass peacefully. We feel so bad for Mom because she was the one who found him when he was four weeks old in the field with his two brothers behind her office.

Minchie is a little afraid of them, but loves to watch them from afar.

Friends Friday

Remember our friend Angel who lived with us for a year? Mom found this picture of us that was never posted. We miss our good buddy!

And these are the friends that kept Mom from helping us blog yesterday. These guys are the 2010 Stanley Cup winners, our own CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS!!! Mom was scaring us so much while watching the games with all her screaming that we are just glad it's all over! She has loved them since the first game she went to back in the early 1970's when she got in with SRO tickets and stood for the whole game in the very upper deck of the stadium. We are very happy (to say the least) finally one of the five Chicago professional sports teams brought a championship to us! In a few hours there is a huge parade for them but she's going to abandon us to watch it with her sister on her gazillion inch TV.
