Yesterday mom went to our cousin's house to eat another turkey dinner.

Gizmo is not happy at all that they forgot to set a place for him.

Beware of those laser eyes! That couldn't even persuade the humans to set a place for him. But don't worry, mom was sneaking turkey to him before and after dinner. Mom is always telling him that if it weren't for her he'd be coyote food.

We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Mom is going to another Thanksgiving dinner today and this one she promises will be the one we get our turkey leftovers from. We can't wait! nom nom nom

Tummy, toesies and tail Tuesday

Mom ran for the flashy box yesterday when she saw me doing roly polys on the unmade bed and showing off my tummy furs. This is something she's never seen me do before so she got about 5 shots that you will be seeing in future Tummy Tuesdays. Most Turkish Angora's are pure white, but I have some tiger markings in me because I am a Mancat and tough like a tiger. My ladycat and Turkish Princess, Baby Patches, has the beautiful calico markings trying to overtake her white furs.

Tummy and toesies Tuesday

Laila just loves being able to spread out on the couch. Great way to spend a cloudy and cold day.

Our mom and Angel's mom are going to the movies tonight to see "The Wizard of Oz" on the big screen. It's the 70th Anniversary Encore Event. Mom says she's gonna close her eyes during the tornado scene.

Mancat Monday

Mom is back! Life is good once again. Angel's mommie took real good care of us.

TGIF!

Last night Mom and Chey and Gemini's Mom met for the first time and had dinner together then Mom brought Bonnie over to meet us. Here she is telling me what a handsome mancat I am in purrson and that the pictures just don't do me justice.
We smelled every inch of her taking in the sweet ladycat smells of Chey and Gemini. Laila did her usual hiding and running from room to room, but Bonnie was able to catch a glimpse of her. It was so much fun to meet her and put our mancat smells on her so Chey and Gemini will be able to smell us when she gets back. What a great visit!

We are giving Mom a few days off to go and do her scrapbooking thing for three days. This is where she will be staying. So we will not be back until Monday. Have a great weekend everyone!

But not to worry, Angel's Mommie will be staying with us.

We are having company!

Laila and I are on the lookout for Chey and Gemini's Mom who is coming to Chicago today for a conference and is staying at the hotel right next door to where we live! Small world isn't it? Mom is going to pick her up at the hotel and bring her over to meet us! We are so excited!!! Then they are going out for dinner. This is the first time we have met a fellow cat blogger in person.

Wordless Wednesday (sort of)

Mom and 30 other potential jurors waiting in the assembly room got released at 2PM yesterday! The room exploded with cheers of joy. The beans decided to go with a bench trial. We are rich now! $17.20 for her time. WOOHOO!!!

Mom has to go to jury duty today. She's hoping not to get picked. Any other week would be fine, but not this week. She's going away this Friday for a long weekend scrapbooking.

Mom says Laila and Angel are in the dog house! Laila has been "egging" him on and Angel then starts to attack her. The water bottle is really getting a workout these past few days. Mom has Feliway plugged in now to see if that helps. We think it may be the springlike weather we've been having that is setting them off. Chill out dudes!!!

This cute latch hook pillow Mom bought on ebay. It looks so much like our sister, Lilly, who went to the bridge last year, that she just had to get it. What is really funny is that is was made by a former neighbor of ours and good friends who moved down to Florida about five years ago. A nice remembrance of their friendship.

Minchie is blowing raspberries because we didn't get one single trick-or-treater last night. It would have been his chance to escape out the door into the hallway. Don't worry, we live in a condo so he wouldn't have escaped outside.
