Easy like Sunday morning

At 6:30 am it was -8F/-22C actual temp and wind chill of -31F/-35C. Think it's a good day to stay in and nap, eat, poop and help Mom with more cookies.

We also has to take care of her because she was pulling out of a friends driveway last night (she went there to let their doggie out) and one of her tires slid off the driveway and she gotted stuck real bad. And it was snowing through all this and she had so much snow on her she looked like a snowman herself. Then she fell on the slippery snowy driveway and hurted her bad knee and has been icing it since. The car was so stuck that she had to call her brother-in-law and her nephew and three of his friends to push, dig her out. What a mess! This all happened as she was leaving to go to the nephew's 16th birthday party at a restaurant. She is forever grateful to those who came and rescued her.

  6. Oh my goodness! I hope your mom's knee isn't hurt too bad. Falling like that is no fun at all and neither is getting a car stuck in a snow storm! Y'all should come down here. It's sunny, no snow on the ground (something we rarely see) and right now it's 36 degrees (yesterday it was at least 20 degrees warmer!). Take care of your mom!

  7. Oh dear, that doesn't sound good. I hope your person stays inside and snuggles more with you--a warm cat body will do her knee wonders.

  10. Tell your mum to take care and be safe. This cold, wet, slippery time is not fun.
