Thankful Thursday

We are furry thankful that Mom knows how to give sub-q fluids at home so Lilly doesn't have to go to the V-E-T every day to get stuck with the sub-q needle plus it would cost too many green papers.

Pulling up skin to make the "tent".

Sticking the needle in the base of the "tent" underneath the skin.

Mom adjusting the IV tube.

It's in and Lilly doesn't even know what's going on.

Such a good girl!

  6. OUCH! Wow, Lilly is a fantastic patience & Auntie Peggy, you are so brave to do this for Lilly. I am the 16th kitty Mommy has been guardian to and she has never been faced with this but she said she would do what it takes if ever needed. BTW, MOMMY IS BACK! Boy was she sore from all that walkin' 'round NYC! =^Y^=Ty

  7. Lilly is behaving so well! I don't think any of us furry babies would be so sweet with our mommy if she had to do that for us.

  8. Wow Lilly, you and your Mum are so brave. I think me and my Mum would be kinda scared to do that, but then if you have to do it, you have to do it, so you get used to it.

You are a very good girl Lilly for staying so still.

  12. She is being a very good cat. Our cat had to be up on the bathroom sink so he could drink out of the faucet while getting fluids! That was the only thing that would distract him!
